Dubai is a luxurious and dreamy destination with countless activities onsite. To make the most of your time there begin with your tour first thing in the morning. Tailor your itinerary to squeeze every last minute out of your day in Dubai, to check out as much of everything this great city has to offer.
Early Morning: Helicopter Tour Over Dubai
You’ve not seen Dubai until you’ve seen it from above. See the beautiful Dubai Creek from above and marvel at the Dubai Canal. Your helicopter will pass over Port Rashid, the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Palm Islands, the World Islands, Dubai Marina and Business Bay, Burj Khalifa, Atlantis Hotel and so on. Be sure to bring a fine camera with a telephoto lens to capture great shots of Dubai’s landmarks.
As the helicopter swoops over the Burj Khalifa, you’ll get a unique view of the world’s tallest building from above. It’s an incredible sight. The helicopter tour over Dubai will be the highlight of your one day in Dubai.
Tip: Book your helicopter tour with an airport transfer to save time.
Noon: Burj Khalifa
It’s time now to pay homage to the world’s tallest structure. There are two observatory decks in the Burj Khalifa. There’s one on the 124th and 125th levels known as the At The Top experience, and one on the 148th level, known as the Sky Lounge. If you like, you can do for both for an even better viewing experience.
Enjoy truly panoramic views of the whole city from the observatory deck. Marvel at the city’s beautifully designed architecture and the scope of Dubai’s ambition when it comes to architecture. The view of the grand fountains just below the Burj Khalifa will stump you. From the observatory deck, you can see as far as Abu Dhabi.
If you visit just before sunset, you’ll be rewarded with a lovely view of the most amazing sunset you’ve seen in your life. Burj Khalifa Dubai will wow you with its incredible beauty, height and amazing views from its observatory decks.
Afternoon: Miracle Garden
The Miracle Garden Dubai is a not-to-miss attraction. What could be more beautiful than millions of brilliantly-coloured flowers crafted into unbelievably shapes? Stroll down the many pathways of the Dubai Miracle Garden and enjoy the fantastic display of indescribably beautiful flowers. Colourful butterflies twitter around the flowers which are designed to resemble global landmarks. The entire garden is 72,000sqm large.
You’ll find a miniature Burj Khalifa wholly covered with flowers. There’s also the Airbus A380 superjumbo aircraft made entirely from flowers. This creation won the Guinness World Record for the largest floral installation.
Dubai Miracle Garden has 50 million plus blooming flowers from various parts of the globe. There are heart-shaped arches, flower-covered houses, pyramids and more artistic arrangements that are selfie-worthy. There’s also a Butterfly Garden that houses over 35,000 species of butterflies housed in nine domes.
Evening: Overnight Desert Safari
It’s now evening, and you want to get the best out of it and the night that comes after. Why spend the night at your hotel and leave for the airport in the morning? We have a better idea. How about signing up for an overnight desert safari and spend the night under the stars?
Getting to the desert: The overnight desert safari begins with a ride to the desert in a luxurious 4×4 SUV. Enjoy the beautiful roads and the panoramic landscapes on both sides as you approach the desert. When you arrive, you’ll be taken straight to the Welcome Tent, which is made after a genuine Bedouin Tent.
Traditional hospitality: In the tent, you’ll enjoy some traditional Arabian hospitality with hot coffee and dates. If you like, you can ride a camel or relax with a shisha pipe.
You can also enjoy some desert sports such as the exciting and adventurous dune bashing, which is like a natural roller coaster. Then there’s quad biking on the desert’s hard wadis and soft dunes. Or, if the child in you begs to come out, how about sandboarding on the dunes? It’s great fun.
Cultural Entertainment: When you’re done with your sports, it’s time to settle down to some cultural entertainment in the tent. Enjoy some scintillating belly dancing, Tanura dancing and henna tattooing. There’s a grand buffet dinner awaiting you next with some finger-licking food.
When night comes, watch the moon and stars in the sky – the city can never rival their brightness – before settling in our tent.
The best way to experience the magic of Dubai is by planning your one day in Dubai so that everything falls into place when you are there. If you are planning to stay more days in Dubai, then there are lots of other activities you can add to your itinerary. You can enjoy a nice dhow cruise of the Dubai Marina or Dubai Creek or simply explore Jumeirah Beach area.
