Steel frame of Selfridges Building

Last Updated on 17/02/2018 by secretmoona

The structure of this Selfridges building makes the store stand out from the rest of the Bullring Shopping centre in Birmingham, England. The building has a steel framework with sprayed concrete facade which is curved. The facade is said to have about 15,000 anodised aluminium discs mounted on a blue background.

  1. This is quite a bit of architecture, and one very unusual-looking part of the shopping centre. It looks quite tall, and I’m guessing the interior looks as modern as it does on the outside. Love how the clouds were a bit grey the day you took this image – gives a bit of a moody feel to the photo.
