✨ Exploring the charming town of Honfleur, Normandy 🌊 🇬🇧 I absolutely love the medieval town of Honfleur, with its stunning location on the Normandy coast and charming port town feel. One of the town's unique attractions is a game called "mât incliné", which occurs annually on the quays of the Old Harbour. The game draws a huge crowd, with participants attempting to catch a bay leaf and a flag at the end of a pole that is tilted above the water and covered in soapy water to add to the challenge. Have you ever seen it? 🇫🇷 J'adore la ville médiévale de Honfleur, avec son emplacement magnifique sur la côte normande et sa charmante atmosphère de ville portuaire. Le mât incliné, vous connaissez?. Ce jeu qui se déroule chaque année sur les quais du vieux bassin d'Honfleur ramène toujours une foule incroyable. Les participants doivent attraper des feuilles de laurier et le drapeau sur un mât incliné au-dessus de l'eau mais aussi induit d'eau savonneuse. Tavira is a little gem nestled on the banks of Gilão River in the stunning Algarve region. The town, just an hour from Faro, is best known for its incredible beautiful surroundings and authentic charm. A walk along the riverside will bring you to one of Tavira’s architectural highlights: the Old Roman bridge. Although called a Roman bridge, it is thought to be from Moorish times and the current structure was built in 1667. The picturesque, cobbled and pedestrian-only bridge takes people across the Gilão River.
